Andrew Porter is a Canadian who lives on the Isla de la Juventud, Cuba. He is an expert on Cuban Art and he makes a living organizing exhibits of Cuban Art and selling paintings by well known Cuban artists around the world.
He is in Halifax for 10 days visiting and he is interested in putting on a show of Cuban Art here in Halifax. 
He has organized exhibitions around the world. In 2010 he loaned many Latin American artworks to the Arty Gallery Nova Scotia here in Halifax. In 2011 he was part of the British West Indies in Cayman Island. In 2012 he presented Panorama of Latin American Art in Montreal and a valuable piece of Cuban Art was exhibited at the UK Embassy residence with Ambassador Diane Melrose. In 2013 he exhibited at the Lasalle College International, "Colombia y sus vecinos del Caribe." In 2015: Art Cuba at the Galeria Aura in Montreal Canada and at UNEAC in Nueva Gerona, Cuba. This year again at UNEAC Arts Council of Cuba: "Genio y figura."
