Cubans march en masse against Israel's genocide in Gaza
Thousands of Cubans demonstrated this Saturday throughout the country in support of Palestine and against Israel's genocide in the Gaza Strip.
In Havana, the capital, a massive rally led by the president, Miguel Díaz-Canel, was held in the Plaza de la Tribuna Antiimperialista José Martí in front of the United States Embassy to denounce the complicity of the US government in the massacre in Loop. The event was attended by the Palestinian ambassador to Cuba, Akram Samhan.
The mobilizations on the island called by the Union of Young Communists (UJC) and social organizations, as throughout the world, have taken place before the announcement of the new offensive of the Israeli regime against the overpopulated city of Rafah (in the south of Gaza Strip, which hosts more than a million Palestinian refugees).
